Water retention face steroids

Hello, I have had terrible fluid retention (about 10-15 pounds that appeared overnight for the last year and a half.) I’ve had every blood test, stool test imaginable. The basic blood test showed possible dehydration and everything else is fine including kidney function. My diet is caffeine free and full of whole foods. I exercise daily which allows me to sweat out some fluid (Since this fluid retention I sweat excessively and very easily during exercise- the extra layer of fluid makes me feel very hot.) I drink around 3 litres of water per day. I’ve tried to add some pink Himalayan salt to food but this makes the fluid worse. Fluid is sometimes really smooth and other items really puffy suggesting that it’s moving between intracellular and extracellular. I’ve tried drinking more water but I just hold more. If I get hot or sweat slightly I become even puffier! I’m so fed up, please help!

Water retention is a common problem that most people face at some point in their lives. A combination of diet, lifestyle changes, supplements, and diuretics can work together to relieve edema and stop it from returning. The biggest thing to remember is that edema is caused by a combination of too much sodium in the body and poor circulation. By reducing salt intake and encouraging the excess water to leave with diuretics, edema will quickly fade. Combining these lifestyle changes with an increased exercise regimen will also make a difference in reducing edema .

Fluid retention in legs is a common condition caused by many factors, including illness, medications, and a high salt intake. Most cases of edema can be treated easily at home by improving your diet, exercising regularly, and taking herbal supplements to eliminate excess water from your body. A few simple changes can make a large difference in the overall quality of your life and reduce excess edema at the same time. Before making any drastic lifestyle changes or adding a lot of supplements to your diet, consult with a doctor to rule out dangerous conditions that might be causing your edema.

Water retention, or edema, occurs when your body begins to store excess fluid in its tissues. Fluid regularly leaks into bodily tissues from your bloodstream. Under normal conditions, a network of tubes throughout your body called your lymphatic system will drain excess fluid back into the bloodstream. [1] Fluid can begin to build up when your system becomes overwhelmed by factors including high salt intake, excessive heat, obesity, the hormonal fluctuations of women's menstrual cycles, or more serious illness. Carefully evaluate your symptoms to determine if one of these factors has caused you to retain water.
